Attendance and participation at monthly meetings held at the Millbrae Library, 7 Library Ave in Millbrae, California. Meetings are held the Third Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:00 PM. In addition to club business, the club often provides a numismatic oriented educational program.

 MONTHLY RAFFLES

During our meetings we conduct several raffles which provide valuable numismatic prizes. Show and Tell, on-time Membership, Coin of the Month and the larger raffle prizes are often aligned with a topical theme.

CLUB MEDALS

Each year the club produces a medal through a medal design contest. LNS has produced and sold a club medal every year since 1957. Members submit individual designs and the membership votes to select a winning design. The club produces a medal based upon that winning design. Previous example subjects have been: 1957 Chevy, Alcatraz, American Legion and Yellowstone National Park to name a few.

YEAR-END ATTENDANCE DRAWING

Each December LNS conducts a year-end drawing for a gold US coin. For each meeting attended throughout the year, one chance for the year-end drawing is submitted. In previous years, the gold coin has been a significant prize for any numismatist.

ANNUAL COIN MONTH DISPLAY

Liberty Numismatic Society participates in the creation of a coin, currency and medal display at a public location in April which commemorates Coin Month established by the American Numismatic Association.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER

Each member in good standing receives a copy or our monthly newsletter which updates our membership of all current activities. We prefer that members receive the newsletter via this website.
