LIBERTY NUMISMATIC SOCIETY


We are a society that promotes, educates, & encourages all types of   numismatics and provides sharing opportunities for collectors in an organization of mutual interest & fellowship.

LNS was formed in 1957 by coin, currency, and medals collectors.  We currently have approximately 50 members. 

We are an incorporated charitible organization under IRS statute 501 (c) (3).  

We welcome all types of collectors and collecting. With varying collecting goals, some of our members appreciate coins and/or currency of the U.S., others collect foreign coins/currency while still others are involved with ancient coins. We have members who collect military and other medals and/or tokens of all kinds. We also have members collecting elongates (stretched, squished or 'smashed' coins) and some who like wooden nickels. Some among us collect a combination of these categories. Finally, we have individuals who are experts and those brand new to the hobby.
